Implementation of advanced document management software (ERP) for the administration of maintenance contracts

Icube contracts with a specialized provider to develop and customize an advanced management software (ERP) for the administration of maintenance contracts.

The project belongs to the call for grants aimed at companies in the Principality of Asturias within the framework of the Check Program, within the category Digitalization of the company.

The action is co-financed by the Government of the Principality of Asturias through IDEPA, as well as by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Development of a tool based on fem methodology for the prediction of thermal distortions in components manufactured by 3D printing

The PREDIRE 3D project is based on the development of a simulation solution based on finite element calculations, capable of predicting potential thermal distortions in elements manufactured by additive manufacturing technology. For the development of the present project, the use of finite element software (ANSYS) is foreseen. The components under study will be fundamental elements of innovative industrial refrigeration systems, which will be manufactured using 3D techniques. The designed and manufactured elements will be validated according to a detailed dimensional control study, which will allow to establish the validation and optimization of the developed predictive tool.

Treatment of NOX in combustion gas streams by additive manufacturing – 3DCAT

The project promoted by ICUBE aims to reduce the emission of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) into the atmosphere through catalysts of complex reticular structures manufactured with 3D technologies coated with a photocatalytic agent.

The action is co-financed by the Government of Asturias through the Economic Development Institute of the Principality of Asturias and the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan (PCTI) as well as by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

OFTALPRINTIA: Design and development of a new line of biofabrication of varied ophthalmological tissues using 3D printing and Artificial Intelligence

The main objective of the project is to carry out an industrial research process aimed at the design and development of a new line of biofabrication of various ophthalmological tissues in a safe, effective and quality way.

The action is co-financed by the Government of Asturias through the Institute for Economic Development of the Principality of Asturias and the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan (PCTI) as well as by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund ERDF.

The proposal will be carried out between Instituto Oftalmológico Fernández Vega, Izertis and Icube.

Research of biotechnological routes in pilot plant for obtaining biomaterials from industrial by-products (BIOPLAMT)

ICUBE Ingeniería Internacionalización e Innovación participates in BIOPLAMT project whose objectives are the investigation of new biotechnological processes for transforming by-products into products with greater added value and the design and assembly of a pilot scale facility where bioprocesses developed in the laboratory can be scaled up. The aim is to develop a biotechnological process at pilot plant scale for the transformation of industrial by-products into bioplastics. In order to obtain these biomaterials, it is essential to investigate the biological processes in the laboratory and to have facilities to study the transition from scale to industrial production.

The action is co-financed by the Government of Asturias through the Economic Development Institute of the Principality of Asturias and the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan (PCTI) as well as by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The proposal will be carried out between Industrias Lácteas Asturianas, Ingénica, ArcelorMittal and Icube, with the technological collaborators Idonial and EntreChem.

NANOSOL 3D - Development of a water-soluble nanocomposite for moulds and substrates manufactured by 3d printing for its application in composites for the aeronautical and automotive industry

ICUBE participates in the project “Development of a water-soluble nanocomposite for moulds and supports manufactured by 3d printing for its application in composites for the aeronautical and automotive industry - NANOSOL 3D“ whose objective is the design and development of a specific FDM head for the processing of nanostructured thermoplastic, as well as the development of FDM system prototype with a work volume capacity of 1m3.

The project has been financed by the CDTI through the Program INNOGLOBAL 2016 (Project INNO -20161027), supported by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness.
